Below is a list of items we can remove for disposal or recycling:

  • Mattresses and box springs

  • Paint/Household Chemicals

  • Scrap wood or metal
  • Paper and files (with off site shredding upon request)
  • Propane tanks

We will NOT take the following items:

  • Pianos
  • Heavy construction debris
  • Oil tanks

Donation Services

A large and important part of our business includes our charitable work, which allows us to give back to our community. We receive many still-useful items from our clients’ homes, and we donate many of these items to our partner charitable organization, Household Goods, in Acton, MA; Household Goods, in turn, provides these items free of charge to families and persons in need. Household Goods has an on-going, constant, need for furniture, kitchenware, linens, and all other household items, which our clients are happy to see being put to use helping others. In addition, we donate a percentage of our cash proceeds to help Household Goods fund their charitable program. Not only does our partnership help those in need, but it also promotes sustainability and reduces waste.

Over the last 15 years, we have donated over 36,000 items to Household Goods. This equates to roughly 375 tractor trailers full of reusable furniture. Click here for a list of what Household Goods will accept.

Additional charity partnerships include the Epilepsy Foundation for clothing donations, and More Than Words Books for book donations.
